A currative database for lysosomal storage disorder
LSDs is a collection of various rare genetic disorders. For this reason awareness about LSDs is currently limited among parents and researchers across the world. However the combined prevalence of LSDs is much higher. On that note, this database provides informations about LSDs in a manner that could be understood by both parents and researchers. Especially, details about each LSD is compiled into a single database that would be helpful for researchers working on this feild. LSDDB was developed under the guidance of Dr R. Rajasekaran at VIT (Deemed to be University), Vellore. For further information on LSD and the predicted effects of mutations, please contact us.
The work was supported by ICMR Research Associate fellowship for Dr. Meshach Paul D (Project ID 2019-5399).
